Prophecy

The Holy Spirit told me this: prophecy is speaking the mind of God over an issue. To prophesy is to speak under divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit. Prophecy comes from the Holy Spirit, it brings comfort to the hearers, it edifies (encourages and builds). Now!, scripture says that the spirit bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God, in the same way, when words that are inspired by the Holy Spirit are spoken, there is a synchrony with our spirit that results in peace over that issue.
The Holy Spirit taught me something significant about prophecies, from scripture, we see in Matt. 8:16-17;Jesus lived everyday on earth fulfilling prophecies. He told me this, when words of prophecy come to you from the Spirit of God, keep it in view (be fully acquainted with the prophecy) and play your own role at making the prophecies get fulfilled. There is a mature way to handle prophecies, when spoken, receive it and ask the Holy Spirit for your own part to play (and play your part if any). You don’t always fold your arms and expect it to just happen. It may not in every case.
For instance, if you receive a word from the Holy Spirit stating;” in a particular location away, you will meet a particular person that will be helpful to you” and then you choose to stay and not go to that location, you might obviously not meet the particular person. Then you have someone say oh! It was not God. Get responsible over prophecies, play your own role if any and have them fulfilled.

Creating; through your words

The Holy Spirit ministered to me one day while I was praying. He said to me, when God speaks, His words carry grace and those words are therefore creative (able to create). He further told me, when Jesus told peter to come to Him on water, immediately that word was spoken, the ability to walk on the water was created for peter, and he was then able to do so.
You have God’s ability as you have his life in you therefore your very words can create. To be more effective in speech that carries grace, study the word of God (for rhema) which will always build you up; maintain constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit; pray in other tongues, it will reflect via the power that will come with your words. Speak words that create whatever you want.

Guard your heart

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. The heart is a vital part of a man’s life because every man is a product of his thoughts, for as he thinketh in his heart so he is. The heart is the receptive ground for the word of God. From the parable of the sower in Luke 8:4-15, it is clear that the enemy went to steal the word from the heart of some. The word of God for a Christian should be used for every issue of life, when the word is received into the heart of man, he has to keep it and reproduce in it (bring forth fruits). Handle every issue based on the word, not based on intellectual and sensual knowledge; always be full of the word, guard that word in your heart, then bring forth fruits with patience.

The Efficacy of the word

2Tim 3:16-17: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works”.

One look at that Scripture & we’re hit by the realization that God’s Word is our ‘One-stop place’ for everything we could ever need.

There are times when you really need some good advice or you just need to get something straight, or maybe you want to show someone what to do,..or times when you just know its high time things changed but you’re not sure how to go about it without making a mistake.

Whether you’re about to launch into new depths in your career or business, adjusting to a recent development or stuck in the middle of ‘nowhere’, the Word definitely has the answer you need.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” -Hebrews 4:12
Listen, this Word of God is fail-proof, that’s why a big man like David could bet his life on it and say: “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven” – Psalm 119:89

I can never be sick

I received this word from the Holy Spirit while I was preparing to minister at a programme. This discovery has changed my life and perspective about my health. Let me prove to you from scriptures why you can not be sick.
Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
From this scripture, we can see that when you present your body a living sacrifice unto God, it is a service unto Him.
1 Cor. 6:19: What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Therefore this scripture makes it clear that my body is God’s temple. He dwells in my body, that’s service unto God.
Mat 6:24a: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other…
The Holy Spirit lives in me because I have presented my body a living sacrifice unto God, (I can’t serve satan at the same time). Therefore the Holy Spirit can’t co-habit my body with any unholy thing such as sickness. The Holy Spirit in me is my guarantee of health. I can never be sick because the Holy Spirit lives in my body. Halleluyah

Your health is sure

Amongst others, one of the effects of the death of Jesus on the cross is a total end to the canker of sickness that could have tried to ravage us. Sickness is not of God, the word of God says that whatever God created was good, therefore we being created in His very image have been created as good void of any form of sickness. And this has been fully established as we see in the word from 1 Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Take note “where healed” this means that the provision had already been made. Know that you already have sound health; and it became your portion the moment you believed in Jesus. Be conscious and always speak it out; I ENJOY PERFECT HEALTH FOREVER!!!

Vitality

Scriptures say in 3 John 1:2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Any man that has the Holy Spirit living in him should enjoy perfect health and vitality because if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. When you received Jesus into your life, you received His life, that life is eternal, it can not be corrupted, and that life is sustained by the Holy Spirit. It is so wonderful that the vitality of the body of a man is hinged on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, living in anybody causes a positive effect on the human body, such an individual doesn’t just stay alive or get sustained by blood but by the Holy Spirit – That Spirit that brought the dead to life (Rom.8:11- But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you). Halleluyah!!!

Fire in my bones

Many of God’s children desire to tell others about God and long to be used of Him in some mighty way. Reading about great men of God and the exploits they’ve commanded can stir up just about anybody. But that’s not enough.. “Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay” – Jer.20:9
I’ve always marveled at how this prophet could not even hold himself back from preaching. It just seemed to spill out of him. One day, I found out how that came to be: “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.”- Jeremiah 15:16

This man gave himself to diligent & intentional study of the Word and that, dear friend is the way forward. “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all” -Tim 4:15.
Every chance you get, put the Word inside you. Whether or not you feel like it, just keep stuffing it in there and very soon, it’ll dawn on you that you’re actually improved and now taking giant strides in the Spirit. In consistency lies the power!

Thought pattern

Scriptures say: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. This is a prescription for the thought line of a Christian, as Christians we can not just be lost in just any thought. That is why we have been admonished to guard our hearts with diligence. When you think on a thing long enough, it registers in your subconscious and if it is something that might require an action, once there is an opportunity there will be a proportionate action (because it had been processed and concluded in the mind). Don’t have careless thoughts, they could be very expensive instead, think on the right things, engage in creative thinking and you can be sure you will replicate your productive thoughts to reality.

You can do it

One day, God ministered to me from His word in matt. 14:28 (And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water). He said “ when I tell you to do anything, I won’t be at the other end watching to see if you will do it right or wrong (trial and error) No!, I tell you to do a thing because the ability to do such is inherent in you(had been created at the instance God spoke it) God will not say to you to do a thing that you can not do. Whatever God says to you to do, no matter how big or how ambiguous it is, you can do it. Prior to that particular moment, peter might not have known that he could walk on water, maybe the other disciples in the boat would have thought that peter was being foolish to step out and walk upon the water to Jesus until they saw he could do it. Trust God’s leadings always, he always knows better. You can do what ever He tells you to.
