This approach requires your ability to see the word of God as the book that defines your person. The word of God states who you are in plain black and white and even more by the Spirit of God through revelation. Word addiction is self-discovery addiction. It is the process or means by which you discover who you truly are in Christ (your new personality in Christ). It brings you to a full comprehension of your new-man status in Christ. It brings you to a full comprehension of all that you have, can be, can do etc in Christ Jesus; so that men and the world system will not determine or define the constraints of your life i.e. who you are, what you can be, what you can do, what you can have etc.
Don’t let situations and people define your future rather let the word of God do that for you.
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Col.4:6. Words are powerful. There is a right way to answer every man, and a right way to speak over any issue. The right words spoken in season are very effective it can be a blessing to people who hear it, it can also serve as an answer to long standing questions and issues. As a Christian, your words should always edify your hearers; it should administer grace to your hearer. Your words should be a channel for you to communicate essential values to your hearer. Be positively intentional with the words you speak, speak words that edify and bless your hearer, this is wisdom.
