Is there a difference?

There is a difference, but it seems not to be evident… why?
We all dress alike, act alike, talk alike, are you a Christian?… yes, look at yourself and answer the question, mare you truly a Christian. O.K let me put it this way, are you a son of God?
A son of God would not say curse words, a son of God won’t sing songs that glorify the deeds of the world (drunkenness, fornication, etc), a son of God won’t dress (oh my God)
Don’t get this wrong, dress well, dress impressively, but dress responsibly.
What am I saying? This is a question you have to answer- look at yourself, look at the unbeliever beside you.
There has to be a clear distinction between the Christian and unbelievers.

Are You Truly Living

You don’t die when you stop living…… you die when you stop making impact (no matter how small)
You are a Christian as much as you are a citizen. Jesus said “you are in the world though not of it”. As much as you have a place in heaven, it shouldn’t displace your position on earth. The question is, what do you do in that place?
Wherever you are, what you do makes up for who you are, with your family, at work, at home , with friends….
What impact do you make in your world, your world doesn’t have to be the whole world literally, it is wherever your sphere of influence and capacity can cover. Never look at yourself as too small to make a difference. Jesus made a difference to and in the world. Don’t just be a source for concern, be a source of a smile on that woman’s face, on that little child’s. You don’t have to have so much to do so much; all you need to have is a heart to give. Many Christians are living for themselves. How different are you if you don’t act differently, let your boss at work see you as different, let your teachers at school see you as different, let your society see you as different. Imagine a world without you and imagine a world with you, if there is no difference, you are not living.

The Power of Choice

God created man and gave him free will to make his choices. He can choose between good and bad.
The subject of choice in fulfilling destiny
in grand style is inevitable, because the choices we make eventually tell on who we become tomorrow.

In the bible we see the importance of power of choice in Joseph’s life when he was tempted with an opportunity to sleep with potiphars wife (Gen 39
7-12), also Ananias and Sapphira had the choice of doing what was right but they chose to do evil (Acts 5:1-11)
Choices are essential.
Make the right choice today – The ‘God-way’ by
deciding to please Him and the difference will definitely show.
No man who makes the right choices will end un-celebrated.

HELP ME SPEAK GOOD WORDS

Dear Daddy in Heaven,
you are right, it is hard to have good words when I feel mad or sad.
I do need You to help me have the right words.
I want to talk like a child of yours, and i want others to know i am your beloved child by what i say.
Thank you that i can come to You all the time to get the right words and a new start when i have used my words the wrong way.
I love You…………..Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

SPEAK GOOD WORDS

My dear child,
I made your tongues to speak good words to others. you can ask me
to give you words that are uplifting for others to hear.
Because I have chosen you, I want you to talk differently from others.
You are my child and i want you to remember that what you say is a reflection of who you are and who i am in you.
What I ask wont always be easy, because many times when you feel hurt or angry you will want to use your words to make others feel bad.
In those times say a silent prayer before you speak and i will give you the right words.
If you do use your words the wrong way, just come to Me and ask for forgiveness, and i will always
forgive you and give you a new start.
1 peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
