How bright are you

2 Cor 6:14
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?
Eph 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
We can’t run out of the world,… at least for now, so never misread this scripture. Relate with the world ( it’s inevitable though), but we are in this world and should impact the world, not otherwise
If Christians are like the world, how would they witness to the world! But then how can we witness, if we don’t relate. Sounds contradictory, but is painted out black and blue. Jesus related with and even ate with unbelievers, but we don’t record him having 12 unbelievers. This does not mean isolation, retreating from the world; it does mean keeping ourselves from the defilement of the world. It is fine for the ship to be in the water, but when water gets into the ship, you know the rest.
Light would always shine in darkness, the moment there is no significant difference between a believer and the world, there must be a check.
